Story board

I was very impressed that I was able to create a short story in such a short time. I used storybird.com and it was very simple and fast. I will definitely be using this website again for my classroom!

My Wiki experience

My experience with Wikispaces was definitely not as pleasant as the rest of the Web 2.0 applications. I had a really hard time understanding what was going on and how to use it. I understand that this application can work wonders but I am not sure how to understand it. I will continue to try and understand this website because I do think that the concept is one that everyone should try.

What have I been missing???

This is so awesome. I had no clue that this even existed. I love the idea that I can create any type of document and no matter where I am I can access it. I am completely amazed, and I will definitely be using this in the future! I will also share with all of my colleagues.

Pinterest my social bookmarking choice

I am an avid fan of Pinterest. Before I began to teach I would use this website for recipes and ideas for the house. Now that I teach I am constantly using Pinterest to get ideas for my unit portion of my lesson plans. There are so many good ideas, and most of them have examples and instructions. I am definitely hooked on Pinterest.

Glogster

Today I created my Glog account. When I first started to create my glog I was not sure of what I was doing. I think that the concept of the website I really cool. I hope to use this in the near future!

Pet Peeve

My biggest pet peeve is when someone says, " Oh you teach, that must be an easy job". actually I find it to be one of the most challenging ones I have ever seen. Day in and day out we put in 110% into the lives and education of children. If anyone thinks that is easy, you are fooled. Although teaching is very rewarding it definitely has its challenging times. After all of this said, I wouldn't change it for the world!  ;-)
